Food is a 2/5 and the menu is quite basic. My advice to the holding company would be to look at the food offering of any decent hotel (hint: Kompas in Dubrovnik). Rooms are OK size-wise however they are quite basic and very outdated.Again, you are overpaying for what you get. DO NOT book this hotel if you have a pram/buggy and a very young child/baby.Access to the beach involves negotiating 7 flights of steps, during which you will have to carry your pram. This hotel requires serious investment and money you pay for rooms here can get you much better facilities in one of the neighbouring hotels.Anyone who claims access is fine if you have a baby is simply lying. However, the issues related to this hotel cannot be overlooked and we hope that our experiences in this hotel over the past week will help people with babies/young children make the right decision regarding their holidays. I will start with the positives.Hotel restaurant staff were absolutely lovely as were the chambermaids-absolutely wonderful people whom we were able to relate to, partly because we understand the mentality of the people from this part of the world. Days out, rafting in Omis, if driving, a half day to Imotski very worthwhile. This is one of the best overall experiences we’ve had and if back in Croatia would definitely revisit without hesitation. Pool, sunbathing area and pool bar are blissfully peaceful. Hotel breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet, same choice each day, but once you learn what’s available you can have a good and plentiful breakfast. Hotel is situated a 2 minute walk away from a delightful beach and paved promenade which left or right leads to countless beaches/bars/resorts for miles- the nearest Brela has a picture postcard marina and good selection of restaurants with good food at a range of prices. As previous reviews have pointed out, the hotel has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard with no expense spared on rooms and public spaces. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed in relaxed and quality surroundings with kind and friendly staff. There is a pizzeria serving Croatian food in 250 metres away.We stayed here mid September for 6 nights, a midway stop between visiting Split and Dubrovnik. Visit the hotel's bar to enjoy cocktails and soft drinks. It covers every dietary need by providing fish and meat for dinner 19:00 to 21:00. You can visit Hotel restaurant for breakfast and eat international dishes.
